Introversion
Today's world favors extrovert people. It is created according to their norms and it is not at all sensitive to people who are not loud, who do not talk to everyone about their feelings, people who first feel and then take action. Introvert people are the subject of this series of photos taken in the summer of 2016 and 2017 in the rare moments when I identified myself as an introvert person. It is a small personal contribution to the representation of the world of introverted people, photographs taken mostly on Portuguese beaches somewhere between Lisbon and Porto. Usually beaches are colorful and loud places where people in a community gaily bake their bodies under the sun. But also beaches are places that attract those who want to escape from the community, who want privacy, peace and big waves just for them. The world is not uniform. The world can feel in another way.
